Some artists enter one genre and own it in their individual respective ways, others experiment with a multitude of genres and embrace each and every one of them, with Santino Le Saint placing himself firmly in the latter category. For Santino, exposure to a variety of genres comes as second nature for the Brixton-based vocalist, as the singer-songwriter fuses his soft-rock offering with new-age R&B establishing a unique identity at the intersections of both genres.

To provide some context on what makes the unique sound of Santino Le Saint, the 23-year-old has been influenced by the likes of Linkin Park, Nirvana, and Bullet For My Valentine, whilst also being heavily inspired by vintage selections in Jimi Hendrix and James Brown, with modern-day artists in Lil Peep and XXXTentation as he delves deep into the emo-inspired section of R&B.

Motivated by an insatiable desire to succeed, and an incredible amount of self-belief, Santino Le Saint began his solo career soon after founding the Cloud X collective alongside David Dabieh and Benjamin Cross. Together, the trio created Santino’s debut EP ‘Cloud 304’ in 2017, with the four-track project showcasing Santino’s early ability to communicate emotions through his ghoulish and distinct style vocals, along with his vulnerabilities and lyricism which allow him to construct his own musical landscape that sets him apart from the majority of modern artists.

Having recently released two tracks from his upcoming album in the form of ‘Best Day of My Life’ in which Santino explained: “I wanted to make a teenage-angst anthem” and his other release ‘One More Night’ following the unraveling of someone consumed by chasing one last high, Santino Le Saint has provided us with a little insight into his ambitious new project. Featuring some of the UK’s biggest artists and award-worthy visuals with Emmy nominated videographer and director Brendan O’Connor, Santino seeks to lean further into his experiences as a renaissance man.

Having recently featured himself on platforms of the likes of COLORS, Notion, BBC, Complex, and various others, Santino Le Saint has pledged to continue challenging the hegemonic norm and toxic ideologies through the power of his music. Santino Le Saint is destined for a huge future.
